HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR VANITY CASE

The Vanity Cases are made from top-grain cowhide leather. As leather is a natural material, each Vanity Case is unique. Slight variations in grain, texture and colour are part of the character of genuine leather and are not considered defects.

Care instructions

Outer material (leather)

  • Light dirt can be wiped off with a slightly damp cloth
  • For heavier soiling, apply a small amount of mild dish soap to a slightly damp microfibre cloth and gently clean the surface
  • Do not use harsh cleaning products or abrasive sponges, as they may damage the leather surface
  • Wipe off products and liquids such as perfume, make-up or nail polish remover immediately, as they may cause stains or damage the leather
  • The leather should be treated regularly with a suitable leather protector to maintain protection against stains and moisture

Lining material (canvas)

  • First remove any dry residue with a soft brush. This prevents pigments from spreading when wiping with a damp cloth.
  • Next, pre-treat stains: apply a small amount of mild dish soap or a grease remover directly to the stain and let it sit briefly.
  • Finally, wipe the lining with a slightly damp cloth and leave it open to air dry.

Good to know

  • Not pre-treated: The Vanity Case is delivered in its natural, untreated state and should be treated with a suitable leather protector before first use
  • Slight variations in colour, natural markings or fine creases are typical of genuine leather and are not considered defects
  • A slight leather smell may be noticeable at first but will fade after a short time
