There is a reason why glasses come in different designs. Shape, proportion, and feel influence how we experience a drink. We looked at five trendy drinks and selected the perfect companion for each from our collection.
From Espresso Tonic to Spicy Margarita and Infused Water – with our tips, you will always have the right glasses at hand. So that everything feels perfectly harmonious.
Espresso Tonic: Low Glasses
Espresso Tonic is one of those specialty coffees that has quietly become established – and now is simply indispensable. Cold-brewed espresso, tonic water, a few ice cubes, and sometimes a slice of lemon. The beauty of it: You can watch as the individual ingredients slowly mix together.
For this effect, you need a glass that is wide enough for the espresso to "bloom" in the tonic water and to keep the ice from sliding together immediately. Our Glass Mid Low is just that – low, wide, and with a pleasantly thick wall.
Spicy Margarita: Medium-Height Glasses
In most bars, this classic is served in a typical margarita glass. That means a stem and a rounded bowl with a wide opening and two levels. At home, however, these glasses are anything but practical. That is why we prefer our Glass Mid Tall. It is tall enough for two or three ice cubes, and the rounded rim is perfect for dipping into chili salt. And when the drink is finished, the glass can simply go in the dishwasher and be stored space-efficiently in the cupboard.
Botanical Fizz: Highball Glasses
Botanical Fizz is the drink for anyone who wants something refreshing on the table – completely alcohol-free. Elderflower tonic, a splash of non-alcoholic gin, cucumber, rosemary, and lemon. The result tastes light, herbal, and almost elegant.
Our Glass Tall looks just as perfect as a highball glass: slim, tall, and ideal for long drinks with plenty of ice and herb sprigs. The height ensures that mint, rosemary, or basil really stand out – both visually and through their aroma when you bring the glass to your mouth.
Iced Strawberry Matcha: Glass To-Go Cups
Our Cold Cups are handleless cups – made of glass instead of plastic, and crafted by hand. We took inspiration from these classic "to-go" cups for the shape. We are particularly proud of the iconic design for two reasons: The matcha and iced latte glasses were the launch of Within Mood and won us our first German Design Award.
For years, you have been drinking all kinds of beverages from these glasses – iced latte, tea, lemonade, and now iced strawberry matcha.
Infused Water: The Carafe to Match the Glasses
Infused water – that is cool water with fresh fruit, cucumber, ginger, or herbs. Basically water with extra flavor that is also refreshing. All you need for this are your favorite ingredients and a beautiful carafe.
Our glass carafe holds 1.2 liters, is mouth-blown from borosilicate glass, and has a glass lid that keeps the water fresh. Place it on the dining table or in the living room, fill it with water, lemon, and mint – and you have both summer decor in the living room and a practical everyday companion.
Our tip: Combine the Carafe with two or three glasses from our Glass Set on a tray. This is the easiest way to give the table a harmonious look – at any time of year, without having to buy extra decor.
What Connects All Five Drinks and Glasses
All our glasses follow the same design philosophy. They are timeless, simple, and easy to clean. In practice, this means: You can mix, stack, and combine them without anything looking out of place. Even if everyone at the table is drinking something different – all the glasses match.
