After our Cold Cups received a German Design Award and quickly became your absolute favorites, we took the to-go aesthetic of the glasses one step further. And what is typical for to-go cups? Exactly, a lid. That's why, since 2024, the glass drinking cup has also been available with a lid and straw. With a volume of 350 milliliters, it is made of borosilicate glass, making it both lightweight and robust. A silicone ring provides a better grip so that the lid and straw do not rattle. With the lid, the cup measures 14.2 centimeters in height instead of 12.0 centimeters.
Glass with character
Like all our Cold Cups, this drinking cup with lid and straw is made by hand. Each piece is therefore unique, which may result in small irregularities in the glass thickness or tiny air bubbles. The clear borosilicate glass can handle everything from iced coffee to hot tea. The robust glass withstands temperature fluctuations and remains stable even at 500 °C. But such temperatures are rather rare in normal kitchens.
For the table, not for your bag
A small but important note upfront: The lid is not leak-proof and is not intended for transport. This Cold Cup with lid and straw is designed for your home:
