Deep Plate

Simple design, clean lines, reduced to function: With its rounded shape, our deep plate is ideal for pasta, soups, and many other dishes. It makes a generous statement on the table: The diameter is 27.8 centimeters, the plate is six centimeters deep, and the 750-milliliter capacity provides plenty of room for generous portions. Handcrafted from stoneware in a small workshop in Portugal, each deep plate bears the small traces of its creation.

Stoneware that doesn't hide its origins

Because each deep plate is shaped by hand, no two are alike. Small irregularities along the rim, slight differences in curvature – these are part of its character, not flaws. The sturdy stoneware feels heavy and reliable, just right for everyday use at the dining table. Stoneware is a particularly dense type of ceramic. It is waterproof – so the deep plates are dishwasher-safe – and is also suitable for the oven at up to 220 °C.

A deep plate for everything that needs volume

Whether pasta, soup, or curry, the deep plate is the all-rounder at the table:

• For pasta & ragout: enough rim to keep the sauce where it belongs
• For soups: 750 ml, a generous portion without needing a second course
• For bowls & curry: rice, vegetables, and sauce all in one plate
• For serving: as a small serving bowl for the center of the table

The classic design of the deep plate makes it easy to combine with other tableware.
