Our Deep Plate set brings four deep plates to your table, made of stoneware and handcrafted in a small workshop in Portugal. With a diameter of 27.8 centimetres and a capacity of 750 millilitres, each plate is ideal for a generous portion of pasta, ragout or curry. The depth and wide rim prevent sauces and soups from spilling over. And because each plate is made by hand, all the small irregularities are what make this set unique.
Stoneware with a story
Ceramic has proven itself for decades when it comes to durable tableware. Stoneware is a very robust type of ceramic. The stoneware of our deep plates is thick enough to retain heat while remaining fine enough to look elegant. Each of the four pasta plates in the set is made individually, which is why the wall thickness and curvature vary slightly from plate to plate. This is not a flaw, but the signature of the workshop. The benefits of the Deep Plates: All four plates are dishwasher-, microwave- and oven-safe up to 220 °C. This makes the set suitable for everyday use without compromising on artisanal quality.
